I think its finally time to come to terms with who i really am.

And im a baller. Have always been one. Have tried to deny it. But am, and always will be.

And that is why im picking up my kicks once again. whats left is to get my nike 1000 back from gerard, and more importantly,

to find me a new court to call home.

yeah. make that a court where there's no houses around. the last time i balled with my car on

(you know, to give me the rhythm, balling is just like clubbing. you need a beat.)

Back from my club session.

Somehow it only amplified what i feel right down in the bone. That i'm still looking for the people that share the same blood type as i do. Z positive.

Sure i had alot of them back in high school. But we really arent in highschool anymore now are we? Yeah, college's fine. But i've yet to find a Z+ still.

Sure i'm not that bad with people, but to actually find ones that know you and with common interests, personality. etc.

Thats gonna take a little more looking.

Point is, where i am right now, all the Z+s are simply not to be found.

I have another theory to that though. Somehow i think its related to what course i'm doing. All the people in the same course i am are Definitely NOT Z+s.

The way they do things, the way they think. Na - ah. zip. None. Na -da.

They either speak mandarin with only a splattering of english(doesnt work cos i speak english with only a half-cupful of cantonese and just a speck of mandarin) ,

Or are studious to the point of intoxication (hey, alcohol works fine for me.) ,

Or they play chor dai di (when i'm a true poker freak) 

Or they drive cars with go-fast stickers stuck all over.

(Which makes me think. Why even bother making fast cars then. just pick up a bicycle and stick as many of those stickers u can. hell, it should go like the wind.)

Or they talk all day about dota (when i'd rather not talk bout such things.period.)

Or they talk bout things which they know ( but they really don't which really annoys me but i'm too polite to say anything about it cos they're just gonna insist I'm stupid and they're waay more knowledgable)

Or heck. They're just not Z+.

So Hey, If you're gonna take a professional accountancy course, u gotta make sure u're not round. At least squarish at the edges.

Either that or be ready to go nuts.

Come to think about it. All the people that i regularly hang out with in uni either foreigners or non-ACCA students. That speaks volumes. In that sense I guess I took the wrong course.

Ah hell. One more year. Bring on the stiff drinks. I'll deal with it.

NB : This blog post is simply what's coming to mind right now. There's many more sides to this argument which i just do not wish to explore at the moment. There's alot of bias in what I said. I acknowlegde that as well.

And its okay. You can hate me for that.

Oh and if you're wondering about the title, i was supposed to type about something else but that was in the morning and i already forgot what i wanted to yak about.

somehow one thing or another in life all ends up being related to how much we paid for it.

take for an example shoes.

joel : hey man, nice shoes! where'd you get them?

jarod : yea man, got them at the footlocker that day. twas a sale there. 50%!

joel : dude no way, 50%? so how much did u pay for it?

2nd example.

dude : hey is that your new car?

dudette: yeah man. new car. MY new car. sweet ride innit?

dude: yeayeah. that costs like what, $xxx,xxx.00? daimn.

still not convinced? okay take this next example. :

boy : happy valentine's darling!

girl : oh happy valentine's to you too.. *hugs kisses etc.*

boy : look what gift i got for you!

*reveals a solitary sweet red rose and gives it to the girl*

do you like it?

girl: oh really you shouldnt!!

*hugs the boy AND at THAT particular moment as  they were hugging, she spots a HUGE bouquet of flowers over his back lying right at the back of the driver's seat.*

*SCREAMS*

ARE THOSE FOR ME TOO???

boy : uh.. no..they're um.. for my mom!yeah yeah thats right.

*girl checks the card on the bouquet. it reads : TO MY LOVELY BOO-BOO*

you call your mom boo-boo? (this is where we all know the boy made a cardinal sin. to actually lie to a girl so unconvincingly)

well then i'm sure we all know what happens after that.

and so. if the boy had gotten less extravagant flowers for whoever it was intended to, it might have been able to pass as a gift to his mom and he woulda gotten away with his lousy lie.

but NO, he had to get some really expensive stuff.

right. so where was i in this paradox?

ok this topic clearly isnt working for me right now so i'm just gonna stop here and present to you a perfectly logical theory :

If you spend too much on roses and arent a good liar, you're at the bottom rung of the intelligence ladder.

If you spend on one rose and arent a good liar, you're somewhere at the middle.

and if you dont spend on anyone else at all, you're at the top.

there.somehow i feel it lacks something. but oh well thats the best i can come up with right now and i've got homework to finish. so there you go.

so i've been thinking,what is it that actually drives people to splurge so much on their cars anyway?
